CIA Story – Tia’s Rainbow Family

Posted by

My daughter Tia (adopted from Cambodia) and I worked with Paula at the Embrace Foster Care Festival. It was a joy to get to know Paula and her amazing family of 9 adopted kids and to meet the wonderful families involved with Embrace and other CIA workers. You know you go to an event like this, thinking you will help others and spread God’s love and you get back SO MUCH MORE!

Our hearts were touched by the many children and their foster or adoptive parents who gave love so unconditionally. These families didn’t care about race, size, or ability… they just loved and nurtured.

My ten year old daughter, Tia and I were so blessed. In fact Tia said when she grows up she wants a “rainbow family”, all kinds of people loving and caring just like Embrace. Somehow, I know in my heart that’s how it will be!
